Deploying infrastructure from code is awesome! Hand editing JSON files is not. In this session we'll show you how to augment or replace Azure Resource Manager Templates with HashiCorp's Terraform. We will demonstrate how to convert an existing ARM template to a Terraform configuration, highlighting the use of modules and variables. In addition, you will learn about some of the limitations of Terraform and potential workarounds.

What you will learn:
  • Deploying Infrastructure in Azure using Terraform
  • Terraform best practices and limitations
  • Converting existing ARM templates to Terraform
