OSD Back to the Basics (ConfigMgr Task Sequences) Level 200 This is all about OSD basics and Troubleshooting, we’ll start with the bare minimum to deploy an operating system using at Task Sequence. We’ll then integrate MDT and go through the basic MDT Task Sequence. Once the pure basics are behind us, we’ll start adding some of the simple tweaks make your life a little easier, and improve the success of your deployments. Things we’ll cover Basic OSD steps, (Format, Apply Operating System, Domain Join) Task Sequence Variables, leveraging native variables to make the task sequence more dynamic Driver Management Methods, quick over several solutions, native and community Several of the basic steps everyone adds, and why we add them Common issues that break OSD, and quick tips for troubleshooting

  • Understand the basics required to use ConfigMgr OSD for Baremetal Deployments
  • Understand how Content and Policy come into play during OSD
  • Understand basic Task Sequences Steps and Variables to enrich OSD
