Description:
The Configuration Manager product we've all grown to appreciate and love, is an incredibly powerful tool. With great power comes great responsibility so configuring your environment in a secure way and understanding the many underlying security related items used by ConfigMgr is no luxury. This two-part session aims to give you insight into all the security related items in ConfigMgr, and there are a ton of them. Things we'll cover, in different levels of depth, include (This is most likely not the full list): - Client approval - WMI Security - SQL Security - ConfigMgr RBA - ConfigMgr Multi-Factor Authentication - Authentication protocols used - Self-Signed & PKI based certificates as used by ConfigMgr - the new Token-based authentication Accounts and groups used by ConfigMgr, like the Network Access Account, client push account,...., - Mechanism that protects ConfigMgr content by using File Hashes - Special files in ConfigMgr

  • Basic ConfigMgr RBA best practices anyone can and most likely should implement
